At Stansted Travel Services, we offer two types of airport pickup. Both are designed to be reliable and easy to follow, but they work slightly differently depending on how you prefer to be collected.
You can choose between an express meet and greet (included in your fare) or a full meet and greet service (optional extra) during the booking process.
This is a carefully managed pickup process used by pre-booked private hire drivers to ensure a quick and efficient collection close to the terminal in accordance with drop off and pick up rules at the airport.
After landing and collecting your luggage, you should make your way to the express pickup area located orecisely outside the terminal on the front forecourt. This is upstairs, across the bus lane in Zone B.
Once you are in the collection area and ready to leave, you must contact your driver directly. The driver will not enter the pickup area until you are ready (we will provide the direct name and number prior to your transfer via email). Your driver will then enter the pickup area and collect you.
This system is designed to keep pickups efficient, good value for money, avoid unnecessary waiting charges and ensure a quick exit from the airport. It is the most common option used by regular travellers.
Important: Do not wait inside the terminal or in the wrong pickup area. The express pickup system relies on timing and effective communication between yourself and our trained driver, so you should only contact your driver once you are in the correct collection zone and ready to leave.

If you prefer a more traditional airport pickup, you can choose a full meet and greet service when booking.
With this option, your driver will meet you inside the terminal arrivals area, typically holding a name board. They will welcome you, assist with luggage and escort you directly to your vehicle.
